" Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord."
Zechariah 4:6

I am a missionary with SIM (Serving in Missions) in Jos, Nigeria.  I was born in Texas and graduated from Texas Woman's University with a degree in Occupational Therapy.  I worked as an Occupational Therapist in Temple, Texas for six and a half years.   The Lord called me to full-time missionary service and in 1999 I entered Dallas Theological Seminary.  I graduated in 2002 with a Masters Degree in Cross-Cultural Ministries.  The summer after graduating, I went on a short-term mission trip to Jos, Nigeria.  During my time there, I was greatly impacted by the poverty and the lack of medical care and equipment available to treat people.  I saw that there were so many needs and knew that the Lord could use me to help these people, both physically and spiritually.  When I returned home, I knew the Lord was calling me to Nigeria.  I joined SIM in 2002 and left for Nigeria in October of 2003 to serve as a full-time missionary.  I will leave for Nigeria June 20th  2007 for my second term.  I will serve in Nigeria for two and a half-years.
